COMPANY HISTORY

Avila Enterprises was established in Sonoma County in 1955 by
Vernon J. Avila as a small, architectural drafting office.  As Sonoma County
grew and expanded, it provided an opportunity for his office to increase its
knowledge and experience while making the transition from a small drafting
service to a highly recognized and well respected architectural firm.

In 2000, Vernon Avila's son, Merle Avila, purchased and established a new
firm named Avila Architects.  The company was then renamed
Avila Architects, Inc. in 2002 when Russell Bunch became a partner in the
firm after serving as in-house designer and architect for several years. Today,
the firm continues to build its client base while serving the residential and
commercial needs of Northern California.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY

Avila Architects, Inc. believes in integrating the client’s wants and needs into
a workable solution while adding design elements that would make the project
uniquely its own.  We do not impose our design beliefs upon the client, but
rather we work with our clients in realizing their desired product.

Our commitment to our philosophy is born out of a strong belief that our
personnel make the difference. The company philosophy and traditional work
ethic is further enhanced through our team of talented professionals
working with state of the art equipment that provide excellent services
and a dedication to our client base.  We pride ourselves on having clear
communication with our clients, and value the creative talents and abilities
of every individual involved.
